Based on what happened to a close friend, I would not recommend this company. After having work performed by The AC Guy Inc., my friend experienced what she believed to be a serious electrical or equipment issue that raised concerns about the safety of her home. Instead of addressing her concerns professionally, she says the owner called her, yelled at her, and threatened to sue her for defamation when she attempted to discuss the situation.
Regardless of who is right or wrong, customers should be able to voice concerns without feeling intimidated. Professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication are essential in any service business. Based on what was reported to me, this experience fell far short of those standards.

I should have made this review years ago. I bought a Home that had an AC from this company. So, when I needed service I called them. They came out and did their maintenance service on my unit. After completing the service I paid and he left. As he was driving off. My AC started making some loud noise. Literally while I could still see him driving away. I called him and he came right back.
When he started to inspect the unit for the noise he determined that it was my condensation pump and it needed to be replaced. (For $500) its a $50 pump at home depot. This pump was working fine and was having zero problems before they came to my house that day.
Needless to say, this got me a little upset. When the technician saw I was upset he asked me to speak with his boss on the phone. This is where we get good!
The owner proceeded to scold me on how “This is Florida and Not New York” and “Its the middle of summer” “things like this happen all the time” and “It was just a coincidence that my pump blew up right after the service.” When I tried to stand my ground and said “No Sir” “There were Zero signs of distress to the pump” He got very angry and Threatened me Physically! OVER THE PHONE like a coward. Leaving his tech standing there looking at me saying “I didnt say that”.
AC companies are those types of businesses that when customers call they are in distress and need a comforting hand they can trust. The AC Guy is not that Business.

The AC guy is not a reputable company. Every time I have called the women are incredibly rude and now many months into a project they dropped the ball on the permit they promised. I do not recommend this company, save yourself the grief.
