Our experience with Solar-Air was good. After purchasing our new home, we hired them to inspect our A/C system and air ducts, conduct maintenance on the air handler and replace all vents in the house with new ones. Beth and her team were helpful in providing service options for maintenance after inspection of the unit, as well as providing recommendations for vent type per room and communicating clearly regarding quotes and scheduled appointments.

Avoid Solar-Air, Inc., Failure to Honor Warranty and Poor Installation
Our Lennox AC unit was installed by Solar-Air on February 12, 2024, just over 1 year and 3 months ago. From the start, the installation was subpar: messy setup, noisy operation, and clear signs of poor workmanship that should have been corrected immediately.
Despite having a 10-year parts warranty on the unit, Solar-Air has outright refused to honor the warranty when the evaporator coil failed and needed replacement. They are demanding over $1,000 for labor, which is unacceptable for a system so new and under warranty.
Customer service has been equally disappointing. We were never informed about charges before service visits; one technician even demanded $256 in cash for “defrosting” without providing any invoice or prior notice. Later, we were hit with an unauthorized $330 invoice for refrigerant and service fees, none of which we approved or signed.
After we raised these issues, Solar-Air canceled the coil replacement order and told us to seek help from another Lennox dealer, completely shirking their responsibility to fix the problem under warranty.
This situation caused significant stress and discomfort, especially during hot weather without proper AC. Solar-Air’s poor workmanship, false advertising, and refusal to comply with warranty obligations have been deeply frustrating.
We have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, Lennox Corporate, and the Florida Attorney General.
If you want a company that honors its promises and respects customers, do not choose Solar-Air, Inc.

I called to ask questions and talk about what my options were and give them business but I was sadly disappointed when this lady answer the phone was really short with me , asked me if they installed the unit which I made it clear I was looking to have partially, or fully replaced the ac system as soon as a said they didn't installed the unit. She quickly hang up the phone. I can't believe they call that customer service.i would very give them business after that experience. I'm just shocked.

Do not recommend. Hired to install tarp and used two pieces of tarp , didn’t overlap properly and water intrusion continued. Did not correct problem, was told that was temporary when it was just installed. Total waste of money and time
