The response time was acceptable, and the employees were courteous. However, I was quoted $925.00 to replace a capacitor in my AC unit, knowing the part cost only $25.00. I declined, but they tried to charge me a $125.00 service fee, which I refused. Two other companies quoted $305.00 and $275.00 for the same job. Be aware of potential predatory pricing.

We had Reliable AC Services install a new AC unit for $3,744 in March but it made a lot of noise and did not cool. They tried to say that is how it is supposed to work. It stayed about 77 degrees, so we asked them to come back in July. They admitted that it was a faulty compressor and replaced it, but demanded that we pay an additional $1,495 for the repair. They would not honor their guarantee for 10 years parts, and 1 year parts and labor for a new unit that never worked right. We put in a complaint to the BBB but Reliable AC Services would not respond. This is after we already paid them $23,000 for another new AC unit and other services. They do a poor job, but are very aggressive in trying to get paid for shoddy work. If you read their online reviews, you may notice it is the same few people putting in multiple positive reviews. Do not believe it.
UPDATE October 2025 ADDENDUM
It took awhile to discover what a incredibly poor job Reliable AC Services did. We since had another HVAC come in and discover that Reliable AC left old ducts, vents and garbage in our attic. They did not bother to close up a large opening in the ceiling where our handler was located, so that the AC was attempting to cool the attic. We found another vent in the bathroom ceiling that was left open to the attic, and they punched a hole through an outside vent for a drainage pipe, rather than run a pipe through a sealed opening and attach to the wall. My edeerly parents had an A/C emergency, we found this company via google search. Its impressive how quickly the tech showed up but thats where it ends! Literally if I can put a timer on the job to replace a $5 dollar fues which took all but literally 5 mins and to have the nervee to rip off people esepcaiily the elderly is pure bad habits and very disappointing I asked for a dicount and it was an absolute joke insuting to say the least.
