I first had Reeve AC come out to my apartment in 2022 to repair my wall AC that would not start. They did take the unit away and came back a couple of days later to reinstall the repaired unit. When they first reinstalled the unit, there was an issue with water from the unit sprinkling on the exterior wall, an issue that did not exist before. The company had to come out at least three or four times and send multiple technicians to finally correct the issue. Since that time the same issue has occurred twice again. Last year they came out to address the same issue and now the issue is occurring again less than a year later. According to their manager George, this issue is a part of normal upkeep on a wall unit AC. But since I have had to address the same issue on multiple occasions and there was no issue with this unit regarding this concern before Reeve AC reinstalled the unit and since they needed three or four times to rectify the issue initially, I am convinced that they did not perform the reinstallation of my unit properly. I should not have to call them to address an issue that was addressed less than a year ago, that is indicative to me of subpar workmanship on their part. I totally agree with other reviews, everything is fine with them until there is a problem. Manager George is acting like he is doing me a favor allowing me to pay to fix the same issue multiple times. Voicing concerns causes him to become combative, condescending and not even remotely interested in taking any responsibility for rectifying the situation, as a matter of fact he places the blame on the customer. It’s been a few days and I am still furious and realing from these con artists. I have never felt so violated. They charge me $150 for 3 seconds of work. My AC is only about 5 years old. They come in and without saying anything start measuring the room. Finally I ask them why are you measuring the room? And they say I needed a new AC. Then they tell me the new AC is $300 more than the place I normally get it from and they have the gall to tell me that the reason why they are more expensive is because they have superior plastering techniques. I didn’t even ask them to match the price, just come within $100 bucks and they still wouldn’t do that!! don’t know how a business can charge $150 for 3 seconds of work. By the sound of it, they could of told me over the phone and maybe charged $80. How does a business like this have absolutely no shame? The technician started to film the area around the AC and made bogus phone calls to his boss to make it sound like it was a bigger deal. I filed a formal complaint with Friedrich to not recommend them. I am angry as hell.

Bought a wall unit from this company 4 years ago. I've had to call them three times for the same problem once a year, which I was told was due to drain hole being plugged. The person I spoke with today was rude and condescending telling me that the reason that I'm having the problem is because I refused a full cleaning in the past and telling me I need to read my manual. A full cleaning is over $300 and I told him I'm not paying that amount. In some instances a central air unit wouldn't cost too much more to clean so I told him that I was not going to pay that much and to just send a technician to do a partial cleaning which is cheaper. The employee refused to send out a technician stating I should read the manual that says the unit needs to be fully cleaned annually. They're pleasant until you start having problems with your unit and that's when you will get attitude from them.
Do not do business with these people because they are dishonest. I wouldn't buy another A/C from them if they were the only business in town. I would have given them no stars if it was possible.
