Have been a customer of Monar Air Condtioning for several years and they have always provided top notch service. I have the bi-annual maintenance plan so a tech comes to my home twice a year and checks out my AC system. The techs are technically proficient, courteous, and professional. Leshane and Alex, the two most recent techs who have provided maintenance service, are outstanding (and good natured to boot).

This company completely tried to rip me off. It is almost 100 degrees out here and we called for emergency air conditioning repair and the rep they sent us today tried to sell me a whole new air conditioner and/or air duct cleaning and when I told him we already did that this year. He then said the issue was the compressor and he would need to do all these things to have the ac up and running and it would cost $2000.00!!!! When the problem was a simple fuse that needed to be replaced that cost $225 including service. This is EVIL! I have an elderly parent and pet that was having difficulty breathing and THIS MONAR GUY TRIED TO RIP US OFF. SHAME ON YOU MONAR AND YOUR “SALES MAN”. I don’t usually give bad reviews but I was so outraged by this guy’s audacity!!! Our AC is currently working for a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price of $225 no thanks to MONAR. Unbelievable!!!

I waited a week for them to come do yearly maintenance on my ac. They came and ever since they left the unit won't turn on. I waited 5 days for them to come and break my ac, I am now waiting on any response from them. 4 hours later, Tom says that he won't be able to send anyone out today or tomorrow. He says I don't understand how AC s work so he doesn't feel any obligation to prioritize what their technician might have broken yesterday. I told him that I don't think he understands how statistics work and how it's too much of a coincidence for his technician to not probably be at fault. He doesn't care about customer service so we sit in the heat. My ac unit wouldn't turn on after their technician left on Wednesday, today is Friday, in the 90s and all Tom has told us is that he will not be sending anyone this week. So I had to call another company so that we might have some relief from the heat over the weekend. I see the "owner" responded. We called another company, to fix our ac. Tom left our last phone call at , "We will get to you when we get to you." I better not see a bill as your technician did not even know the basics of ac repair.

I'm very disappointed with this service. Service was performed without my authorization and I was given a bill not even knowing the price of service. I'm the owner my house and feel I should had got the courtesy to be notified if service was going to be performed on my home. My husband just died and I wanted to get other quotes to see what best fit my budget but unfortunately I couldn't do that. Just was force to take on a service I never authorized. I will give a zero if I could. I would never get service from this company or recommend service to anyone I know. Only thing the service manager informed they can do is put on a note on my account to get authorization from me only in the future. WTH that doesn't fix my issue at all because I will not ever be getting service from this company. I worked with alot of contractors before and never once encountered anything such as this. I was notified each time by those contractors and was given paperwork to sign authorizing for me the owner to performed serviceon my home. However, I got absolutely nothing from this company but a bill.
