13 y/o Trane stopped working. Lindstrom tech, Sam methodically went through the system and fixed it. Today It is working better than ever. I was very impressed with his skill and professionalism and work ethic.

My AC unit was running a little slow. The technician came out and changed the capacitor and recommended I changed the entire unit. $600 later and no change in the cooling. He also recommended other things to keep the unit clean for an upcharge. Why suggest changing a system that is working or other things that is not fixing my problem. I’m out $600 bucks and still have the same issue. I won’t be calling them again.

I sent them out to my rental property. The first conversation I had with my technician he was very aggressive and rude right off the bat. He did not provide any explanation just insisted what work I needed done and how much it would cost. He then went and told my renters that I am refusing to do the proper work and now they are not paying their rent because they say the Lindstrom technician told them I cannot afford the correct repairs. This is extremely unethical and is causing me major issues.

I rarely leave reviews, but after 18 months of ongoing issues with my Carrier system, I feel others should know my experience.
I’ve had numerous service calls, including visits from Robert (Service Supervisor) and Travis (Installation Supervisor). Sammie also performed maintenance in March, but I later learned it was never recorded as maintenance. Instead, most visits were logged as service calls.
The most frustrating part has been the inconsistent diagnoses. Every technician has told me something different. Beau even quoted me approximately $15,000 to replace my ductwork without ever going into the attic or taking photos or videos.
When my AC completely stopped cooling, Hector diagnosed a refrigerant leak and admitted replacing the ductwork would not have fixed the problem. Despite the extensive service history, he chose to strictly follow company policy, charged me for a leak test, and my credit card was even charged twice.
My biggest disappointment isn’t the equipment, it’s the lack of consistency and accountability. After this many service calls, I expected better communication, accurate documentation, and customer-focused service. Instead, every visit has brought a new diagnosis and another bill.
As I’m writing this review, my AC is still not cooling. Tomorrow (7/27), I’ll be calling customer service and requesting that Robert or Travis contact me to reach a fair resolution. According to Hector, before the leak can even be repaired, I need to enroll in Lindstrom’s maintenance plan, have the unit serviced, and then address the leak, all while I’m left without air conditioning during the Florida summer. After everything this system has put me through, I expected far better customer care.
