About Fuss Free AC
Fuss Free AC is an HVAC contractor based in Davie that serves the greater Fort Lauderdale area. The company handles air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance for residential and commercial customers navigating South Florida's demanding climate. With temperatures regularly climbing into the 90s and humidity levels that stay elevated for much of the year, reliable cooling is not a seasonal luxury here – it is a daily necessity.
Fuss Free AC operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, giving customers a consistent weekday window to schedule service calls, consultations, and routine maintenance visits. The company's service area falls within Broward County, where aging equipment and salt-air corrosion can shorten the lifespan of HVAC systems if they are not properly maintained.
South Florida homeowners often face decisions about whether to repair or replace units that struggle to keep up with the region's heat load. An HVAC contractor familiar with local building codes, common ductwork configurations, and the specific demands of high-humidity environments can help property owners make informed choices. Fuss Free AC positions itself as a straightforward option for customers in the Fort Lauderdale area who need dependable air conditioning service without unnecessary complications.
Whether the job involves a routine filter change, a refrigerant recharge, or a full system replacement, having a local HVAC provider with weekday availability helps residents and business owners stay ahead of breakdowns before the peak summer months push systems to their limits.

EXCELLENT!! Our air went out on 6/28 and temps in our home hit 91. It was unbearable for us and our 4 little chihuahuas. We have a home warranty contract and Fuss Free was to be the service provider. We were concerned that with this heat and an upcoming holiday they might be really busy and we may have to wait several days for service (very understandable). We purchased room size window ACs just in case. But we didn’t need them. The technician arrived today and we have working AC! The technician was so personable and fixed our AC really quick. We were so happy that I called the office to thank them for such a quick response and to let them know how pleasant the technician was We highly recommend FUSS FREE for your AC needs. Thank you again. ☺️ The Hartman Family from Polk County.

Alfredo E. Was my technician. He arrived as stated in his text.Punctual, knowledgeable, courteous, patient. Alfredo went to work immediately. He made a thorough examination, explained the results, discussed necessary procedures for job completion. Because he had to return the next day, he offered great suggestions for over night comfort. My experience with Alfredo E. is the reason I gave a five star rating.

Excellent maintenance service for my AC. Aaron “my technician” was punctual, knowledgeable, and explained the problem clearly. The work was done efficiently, and the area was cleaned afterward. Very satisfied with the service.

Fuss Free is a contracted service provider by my property management company. Our refrigerator has been freezing our food for over three months, and this has been one of the most frustrating service experiences I’ve ever had.
Fuss Free initially came out on 06/08, and Aaron, the technician, essentially gaslit me into believing the issue was my fault. He claimed that if I were using the meat and vegetable drawers properly, we wouldn’t be having this problem.
The very next day, I had to call back because the hamburger meat I planned to cook for dinner was frozen. They scheduled another appointment with the same technician. Prior to the day of the appointment, he called to tell us it was going to take a lot of work to diagnose the issue and that we’d need to remove everything from the refrigerator so he could access every nook and cranny. Fine, my refrigerator shouldn’t be freezing my food, so I was willing to do whatever was necessary.
Then, the day before the appointment, he called back and told us not to worry about emptying it because he thought he could figure out the problem without us moving everything.
During that second visit, he measured the refrigerator’s temperature at 27 degrees. He said the only thing he could think of was that the thermistor was bad. He told us he’d order the part, that it might take a little while to arrive, and that in the meantime we should raise the refrigerator temperature one or two degrees every day it continued freezing our food.
Over the next two weeks, we raised the temperature as high as it would go (43F), and our food was still freezing. We also hadn’t heard a single word about replacing the faulty part.
I finally called back during the last week of June to check on the status, only to find out the part had never even been ordered.
At that point, I made it very clear to the receptionist that I did not want the same technician back at my house. He had already shown he had no desire to properly diagnose or fix the problem, and I specifically requested that someone else be assigned.
Later that same day, I received a notification from my property management company stating that a proposal had been submitted and that another visit would be required once it was approved.
On Wednesday, 07/10, I received another notification stating the proposal was finalized and someone would be at my house within the next two business days to complete the repair.
By the end of business on Mon, 07/13, I still hadn’t heard anything from Fuss Free, so I called again. I explained that I’d been told someone would be out within two business days. The receptionist looked up my account and attempted to gaslight me by saying, “That must have been when they finalized the proposal because we don’t have the part yet.”
I explained to her, at that point, it had been five weeks since the initial service call.
She placed me on hold to contact the account manager, then returned and told me they were scheduling me for Thursday, July 16th, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Well, this morning, I received yet another notification saying the part wasn’t in and that they needed to reschedule me for Monday.
When I called to reschedule, I also wanted to confirm that Aaron would not be the technician coming back. The representative’s response?
“I’m really good about taking notes, and that isn’t in my notes. You must have spoken to someone else.”
Seriously?
She then informed me that the replacement part had been shipped directly to that same technician, so now they had to figure out how to get another technician assigned and somehow transfer the part to them, which meant pushing my appointment back even further.
I am beyond sick of the constant runaround. I have had to chase this company every step of the way just to get them to do the job they were hired to do.
The work ethic, quality of service, communication, and accountability are absolutely pathetic. I sincerely hope our property management company cuts ties with this contractor because no resident should have to endure this level of incompetence.

over five months ago your technician Jhonny took out two of my grill vents ceiling size 9×9 to replace 5 vents and he came to the house three times with the wrong size every time making me wait for him for hours, and in my ather location he is being fixing my A/C unit since September first he said that the problem is the Contracter,he ordered and changed then he said the electric box and transformer,he ordered and changed, then he said the capacitor and the dryer he also ordered and changed it,then he said the compressor that was sent to him by American Home Shield that he claims that he changed it and put Freon which is not true he never changed and kept my new compressor, then he said he needs to replace the coil and some other parts that is being going on for 5 months, the condition of the building is very bad because of his negligence,I asked to speak to the manager Adam many times and left him massages to call me back and he never did ,I was told that he is a busy man, they took the money for the job that they never did, they have no shame and I hope that important Manager name Adam knows what is going on in his company and if he needs more information about the very bad situation they put me in he can contact me .

Don’t have a problem with these people. We did and got the big time runaround.
They installed a new unit in 2021 who I referred them to my girlfriend. Install had an issue. They install a bigger unit which did not meet code. They had to build up the platform the unit was sitting on. It took a month or two to get it resolved.
Purchased the service agreement and they have been coming out twice a year until the last service, late last year. They kept giving us excuse after excuse that they would be coming out.
We finally called another AC company who was referred to me by a good friend. They came out because the unit wasn’t cooling like it always had. We were told we need a new coil because the filter we were using should have been temporary. It was the one you can wash but upon showing the AC company that is in my networking group here in Ft Myers, he said the gap is so wide that a great heal of the air wasn’t being filter. He said theyvshould have installed a bracket ( which the other company we called also said the same thing, that would allow regular filters to be installed.
I called three different times. First, they said Adam would call us back which he didn’t. Call again and they said hold on, Adam will pick up. After 20 minutes holding, I hung up and called back. There was a message saying we couldn’t leave a message.
Pathetic. I’m a public adjuster and work with a lot of contractors. You really never know how good or dependable a company is until you have a problem. They know they messed up and are taking the low road. I’m having my girlfriend file a complaint with the State. No fuss. Yeah from their perspective but not from their customers.Edwin Wernle, 1 star, via Google
