I represent the South Florida Railway Museum and am the president of such. We were in need of new A/C systems (two) and I was aware of Florida Air Services, for they had installed my home system. I asked for a quote and was surprised to discover that their figure was 15% lower than others. Their professionalism, expertise are immeasurable, and most important, their honesty, this is their hallmark. One cannot go wrong by employing them to renovate, service or replace your current system.

I think it is important for me to take the time to share with you my experience with Florida Air Service and with a York/ADP AC product so you can decide if you want them for your AC company and AC equipment. In 2019 Trey, with Florida Air Service, recommended installing a York AC Compressor and an ADP Air Handler, which he did. It stated on the contract that I had 10 years warranty on the compressor, 10 years on parts, and 1 year on the labor (see photo). After 5 years they said there was no more warranty on the ADP parts. I questioned that so they gave me the part but charged me $150 for a “processing fee.” ? They spent hours removing the bad motor and installing a new motor, which possibly was due in part to the bad design of the ADP Handler. They brought the wrong motor with them and they charged me the time it took for them to go and get another motor! I complained and they removed the 1 hour charge.
Fourteen months later the motor they replaced failed! Again hours to uninstall and install. Again, they did not honor the warranty of 10 years on parts. I spent almost $2000 on replacing 2 blower motors. I was out of town when the 2nd motor went. If I had been at home I would have questioned the reason for the 2nd motor fail.
Just recently I had a leak around the drain pipe connection. Two times the tech came out and left without adequately fixing the leak. Trey came and saw that the gasket /nipple on the drain pan was broken. The company wouldn't talk responsibility for it being broken by their techs, thinking that I could have broken it! Another $270.
I am in the process of getting rid of the York/ ADP unit, which is only 7 years old. The techs from other companies that are giving me proposals on new AC units are amazed at the poor condition of the air handler coil (see photos), which was obviously handled very roughly when having to remove and replace it. No, Florida Air Service, I did not damage the coil.
I stuck with Florida Air Service, because I was told that I had to due to the warranty on the compressor. That is not so, and I am now looking at other AC companies. Florida Air Service does not endorse York AC's these days.

More than once, and even by Trey, I was told that there was no warranty on the ADP Air Handler, only on the compressor, when clearly the contract I signed stated there was a warranty on both units. Now you say there is a warranty. You can't have it both ways.
You stated that the "technicians" saw that there was a leak on the nipple on the drain pan. Please don't whitewash the facts. Your technician Nicolas came out twice to fix the leak and he couldn't. His solution was to smather the drainpipe with some very smelly goop which melted the blue pipe tape that was there. He seemed upset that he had to come back. It took Trey to come and investigate the cause of the leak. He even mentioned it was probably broken by a tech.
No one else I have talked to thinks that a coil needs to get banged up like that in the process of removal and installation.

Got quoted for the repair at parts + labor. Labor was $230/h. It was a bit expensive but they did come in an hour. The quoted the part at $1500 and when I asked if they have a markup on it they said no. And only charge for parts what they pay for them, and are recouping that on the more expensive hourly rate. After the work was done, I checked the part installed and the price tag on it was $500. So not only did they lie to me during the initial call, they added 300% markup on the part and even added another $300 for "shop supplies". So if you want to pay 3x on the parts, 100x on the screws, rags and refrigerant, and pay $230/h call these guys.
If however you want someone honest, someone who will not blatantly lie to you and hey, not pad their bill with several hundred dollars of silly items (fuel for the torch they used was $170, even though a new torch system costs $60 and has enough fuel for over 12 hours of welding) better find another company.
