Phenomenal company and great customer service. We had an issue with our unit and after speaking with the owner he quickly had a tech on site and walked me through multiple different options. Unfortunately it was time to replace our unit and the owner spent the time explaining the options and pro/cons for different options (ie 1 stage vs 2 stage etc). Absolutely going to have them do the service and would recommend this team any day.

updated: installed emerson unit on April 10, 2024,and the compressor broke – found out today the manufacturer went out of business in 2023 and there is no 5-year warranty like David said. I called their distributor American Appliances who confirmed this, and Asap wanted to charge me another $1875 with the "warranty" to replace the compressor … anyone else get an emerson from them?

I had an awful experience with Cool Air ASAP. They first diagnosed the issue with my AC as a faulty capacitor and charged me almost $700, claiming the part was expensive. I later found out the part costs less than $50.
The next day, when the AC still didn’t work, they said the real issue was the fan motor, and asked for another $450. I agreed, desperate to have working air again.
When I questioned the failed first repair and didn’t immediately send payment, the technician David turned aggressive and sent someone to my house to remove the fan motor he had just installed, leaving me without AC again. I had to hire another company to reinstall the fan and finally fix the problem.
To make things worse, David was rude, disrespectful, and borderline harassing in his tone. His behavior was completely unprofessional and inappropriate throughout the process.
Cool Air ASAP is dishonest, unreliable, and aggressive. I do not recommend them under any circumstances.
