I’ve been using aloha ac for some time now and continue to recommend them to all my clients. They always fit me in and have not had any problems with my ac’s. Ann Marie at the front desk is very kind and accommodating and Jorge and Wilbur are excellent techs.

They installed a new A/C system with a heat pump in 2022. In the summer of 2025, I had no A/C and called them out for a P1 error. They claimed to have fixed it, but the P1 error was still there. As I recall, the tech even shrugged it off and said it was “normal.”
Fast forward to this week: I arrive at the house and it won’t cool. Same P1 error again. Their guy replaced something outside under warranty, but the P1 error kept flashing. He then told me the compressor is bad and we should just “monitor it.”
The very next day they came out for my mini-splits. They gave me a 2-hour window (11-1) and showed up at 2:30. The tech said the drain was clogged, cleared it, and left. Within hours the same problem was back.
I scheduled another visit for today between 10-12. Noon came and went, no one showed. I called and got the runaround: first they said the tech was 40 minutes away, then 1 hour 40 minutes away. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said they’d call me back because “no one’s in the office.”
An hour later I called again to find out what was going on, and the lunatic who answered the phone started screaming at me, claiming I was being rude, even though I never raised my voice. Then, in the middle of her meltdown, she hung up on me.

We scheduled Aloha Air Conditioning to add refrigerant to our HVAC unit after already having a diagnostic test completed confirming that refrigerant was needed. I clearly communicated this when booking the appointment.
The technician (Jorge) arrived without refrigerant on his truck and stated he did not have what was needed to complete the refill. He then claimed the job required two people, even though this exact service has previously been completed by a single technician.
What was most concerning was his attitude. He stated verbatim, “I’ve already been on two roofs today. I’m not getting on another roof that’s three stories up.” His tone was dismissive and condescending, and he ultimately refused to perform the scheduled work.
Afterward, I contacted the office to speak with someone in authority. Jared answered and initially justified the technician’s behavior, stating he was already aware of what had happened and that he would “address it.”
As a military family, we chose this company in part because their trucks prominently state they “support our troops.” Unfortunately, the service and professionalism we experienced did not reflect that message.
We scheduled in good faith, provided clear information ahead of time, and expected a prepared and professional technician. Instead, we were left without service and with an unacceptable customer experience.
I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves both preparation and customer communication moving forward.

After posting my original review, the owner of the company personally reached out to me to discuss what happened. He was very apologetic and took the time to listen carefully to my experience.He shared that he has been running this business for over 44 years and the behavior I encountered does not reflect the standards he expects from his employees. He made it clear that he takes customer satisfaction very seriously and was disappointed to hear that my experience fell short of the level of service his company strives to provide.
Our conversation was very respectful and personable. He acknowledged that he had not initially been given the full details of the situation and wanted to understand exactly what happened so he could address it appropriately.
While he cannot control every action or tone of every employee in the field, it was clear that professionalism and five-star service are the expectations he sets for his team.
I genuinely appreciated him taking the time to reach out personally. After speaking with him directly, I would absolutely be open to giving the company another opportunity in the future.
