UPDATE: I am trying to stay positive but it has been over two years since they installed the mini-splits and we still don’t have permits. The company has gone between owners and many other changes but our permits keep slipping through the cracks.
I used to be able to get updates by calling. It took a while but it was possible. Now they have an AI named “Chloe” who acts as the gatekeeper between you getting help and the company avoiding you. When Chloe says she is transferring you to a live person, she transfers you to another Chloe. It’s absolute madness.
Please don’t make the mistake we did- just choose a different company. Yes Air Pros is often cheaper, but the amount of issues we’ve had with the units and the fact we are two years in and still without permits should concern anyone. Most recently they came out about a month ago to replace a breaker because they installed the wrong breaker on our panel and we nearly failed an insurance inspection- the guy who came out was nice but was able to lift the breaker out without effort- it wasn’t even secured in the panel.
About a month before that, I noticed the air conditioner going on and off and heard a loud sound coming from the panel, the breaker they installed previously was literally melted in the back.
Last summer we had a city inspection that was failed as well.
Leading up to that inspection, I was asking them about float switches- we had one of these minisplits installed in another room of our house and the float switches was an issue with that one.
They assured me they got it covered and we are all set. Days before the city inspection, I reached out again and they realized that they did actually need to add float switches (keep in mind this was over a year after they already installed the units). They installed the float switches but one was defective. I believe they fixed it the morning of the inspection.
Please Air Pros, if a human (not Chloe) is reading this, bring back live support people and please just finish the permit process. We just want to be done with this already- 2 years is not reasonable to be waiting for permits.

If I could give a ZERO, I would!!!!!!!!! This company is INCOMPETENT! I called them out emergency for an AC leak I was having, thinking this is a big company they must know what they’re doing. Not only did they not fix the leak, they charged $120 to come out and the guy MADE IT WORSE!!!!!!!!! He did anything BUT fix the problem, cut a hole in my AC unit, quoted me 18k!!!!!!!!!! On a new unit, did me a favor to say he can do a new unit for 12k but could repair for 4k. I told him to leave immediately when it was obvious he’s never done any AC work in his life, called an experienced family friend who was able to come out 2 days later and fixed the problem for $85 dollars (turns out it was a simple, AC for dummies clogged drain line). This is PITIFUL, at best. When I called the company to complain, they said thank you for letting us know and that was it. I will not stop until I get a refund for this PATHETIC waste of my time.

Booked a service for today between 3-5PM. No show or a call. Called them and they had an outsourced secretary that had no idea about what was going on. Very disappointed with their service (or lack of service).
