We called Air Around the Clock because they were the company that had previously serviced the HVAC system at the new home we purchased. We scheduled their standard maintenance visit and asked them to check for possible mold concerns.
During the visit, they opened the air handler, identified some microbial growth, and then presented us with a quote totaling more than $6,000 for recommended work. They did not inspect the ductwork or complete the routine cleaning and maintenance included in our service agreement.
We also asked for records or previous service notes regarding work completed at the home, but were told they had no records available. That was especially concerning because, during our visit, the technician did not take photos or document any notes that were shared with us. It left us questioning how the company tracks service history and documents work performed.
Our biggest concern was the extremely high pricing. Since receiving their estimate, we have spoken with more than three other HVAC companies, and each one expressed that the quoted prices were significantly higher than what they considered reasonable for the work being recommended. We ultimately found a much more affordable and thorough company that took the time to properly assess the system, document the findings, and explain our options.
We called them based on their history of servicing the home, but after this experience, we would not recommend Air Around the Clock. The lack of documentation, incomplete maintenance visit, and excessive pricing made this a very disappointing experience.

I hired this company to repair my AC compressor with the understanding, which they set that payment was due only after the work was complete. After the technicians finished, my house still would not cool. The job was not actually done.
