Very disappointed with AC Police.
I originally paid $600 just to replace a fan on my old unit and it only lasted a few days. In March 2024, I purchased a 4-ton Rheem system from them for $9,500 hoping to avoid more issues.
In December 2025, the unit froze. AC Police came out and charged $405.72 for a dye test but couldn’t find the leak and said they would return in five days. They never came back or followed up.
Now in March 2026, the unit froze again. A technician finally found the problem, a leak in the outdoor unit caused by faulty Rheem equipment. The part is under warranty, but AC Police is trying to charge $1,040 in labor to fix it. You’d think a company would go after the manufacturer for the cost but not AC Police.
I called two other HVAC companies and both said that price is extremely high for this repair. Between the high costs, lack of follow-up, and trying to charge over $1,000 on a relatively new system they installed, this has been a very frustrating experience.
AC police was of no help. From spending over $10,000.00 with a company you’d think they some what care and try and resolve this.
I strongly recommend getting other quotes before using this company.

Unprofessional and uncommunicative. Never again using them. It took 6 calls with two different people to get a basic maintenance job scheduled. They ended coming at the wrong time. They never called again to reschedule. I'm shocked how they are still in business. Save your time and money and find another company.
